Within the Jiří Zídek Trophy, three fundamental motifs converge: the ball, the hoop, and the circle. The ball symbolizes the essence of the game, the hoop represents triumph, and the circle embodies the camaraderie of teamwork. These motifs – the game, victory, and team spirit – are boldly intertwined and manifested into a single artifact transcending mere recognition, embodying the spirit of athleticism and perseverance.
The surface of the ball is adorned with 24-karat gold plating – the metal of champions. Utilizing a special resin casting technique, tiny gold fragments are embedded throughout the depth of the material, creating intricate detailing. Moreover, the ball hides an important artifact from the estate of Jiří Zídek, the most famous Czech basketball player of the 20th century.

The robust circular base not only bears the name of the trophy but also features ten plaques, gradually inscribed with the names of the winners of each annual championship. The trophy resulted from a collaboration between the Designer, PrusaLab, and the Technical University of Liberec showcasing a dedication to pushing the boundaries of innovation in sports awards.
Utilizing advanced techniques such as stainless steel 3D printing (Selective Laser Melting) for the intricate details of the net and resin casting for the gold-infused ball, the artisans have elevated the sport award to a symbol of excellence in design and fabrication.
